HADM 6306 Health Services Financial Management II

This course provides students with the necessary foundation for understanding and managing the financial aspects of the modern healthcare organization. Topics covered include organizational budget preparation and variance analysis, cost allocation decisions, application of the time value of money and cash flows to return on investment decisions, evaluation of debt and equity financing, including management of financial risk. Additionally, students will be exposed to the complex reimbursement methodologies currently used in the health services field and learn how to make pricing decisions.
