EDUC 3365 Foundations of Education-Writing Intensive
This courses will address: (1) philosophical, sociological, psychological, and cultural backgrounds of 21st Century education; (2) the history of education, cultural challenges of the educational endeavor in the United States, and the implications of national programs, state requirements, and local school district mandates; (3) the legal, ethical, and moral responsibilities of the teacher in a professional setting; (4) writing for presenting a position, argument, or opinion; writing the professional setting and writing the professional paper in APA style will be included and required for successful course completion.
Prerequisite
EDUC 2300 and requires Junior level. Admission into the Teacher Education Program is required.
