These types of organizations place the participant above seeking a profit for an owner. Students will learn the skills to form, market, fund, staff, connect, and lead these organizations in purposeful ways. Graduates are also prepared to advance sport-for-development-and-peace programs which utilize sport as a vehicle for enhancing community development, health education, or many other positive outcomes.
