PEHP 1132 Swimming for Fitness

This course is designed to improve students' fitness levels as it relates to swimming. Students in this course should have a strong skill set in swimming the four competitive strokes and be able to swim 50 yards without stopping. Instruction will focus on efficient swim mechanics, health benefits, and equipment use. Basic fitness and training principles will be discussed as applicable to the activity of swimming.
