MATH 4370 Mathematics Modeling of Natural Processes

This is a three-hour course that provides students with the mathematical and computational tools necessary to understand, model, analyze and modify a variety of biological systems and their dynamics. Topics will be discussed in the context of both continuous and discrete models and be taken from a broad range of biological fields which may include population biology, epidemiology, ecology, genetics, evolution, and DNA sequencing.
