MATH 4355 Categorical Data Analysis

This three-hour course covers the probability theory, estimation, and hypothesis testing of categorical data. Topics covered include basic properties and inference for univariate and multivariate distributions of categorical data, analysis of two-and-three-way contingency tables, generalized linear models and specific cases such as logistic regression. Data analysis and simulation will be performed using software packages such as R and SAS.
