NURS 6321 Nursing Theory for Advanced Practice
This course is an introduction to nursing theories and includes analysis and comparison of selected theories from nursing and other disciplines, and evaluation of the theories for use in nursing education, administration, and practice. Theories are discussed within the contexts of the research process, the development of nursing knowledge and the advancement of scientific practice, with a focus on theories that have specific application to health disparities.
