This course addresses strategies related to graduate academic writing for research, how to avoid plagiarism, effective paraphrasing, proper attribution, and critiquing academic articles.

This is a research writing course that may be required for students in the Dreeben School of Education’s Doctor of Philosophy or master’s programs based on a writing assessment. Students are required to take this course early in the program. This course may not be repeated for credit.
