SPAN 3321 Intro to Hispanic Linguistics

Students explore the sound system, grammar, and semantics of Spanish using methods of analysis developed in modern linguistics. Attention is given to social variation of language, language acquisition, and the historical development of dialect differences. Offered in Fall, odd-numbered years.
