MATH 6392 Practicum II
This three-semester hour course establishes the guidelines for students in the Master of Science in Applied Statistics (MSAS) to complete a consulting project. MSAS students will work with a client from a local business to solve a problem applying statistical methods, project management and problem solving techniques. This practicum will take place during the last two semesters of the MSAS program. Students are expected to write a comprehensive technical report about their consulting project. Students will present their work to the client and other audiences (e.g. the Industry Advisory Board).
