MATH 6361 Advanced Probability and Statistics I

This three-hour course is part one of a two-part sequence with MATH 6362. It covers set theory, probability theory, properties of random variables, functions of random variables, marginal, conditional, and joint probabilities and their relationship, moments and moment-generating functions, transformations of variables, counting and combinatorial techniques, and Bayes’ Theorem.
