HADM 6306 Healthcare Finance II

This course introduces concepts and develops skills in financial planning and controlling functions including time value of money, pro forma statements, and financial condition analysis. Additional coverage of contemporary financial management topics includes capital budgeting, capital structure analysis, working capital and revenue cycle management, and financial risk. The course content is designed to give health administration managers the skills and abilities to analyze the financial implications of day to day operational decisions. The financial topics covered in this course provide the necessary foundation for understanding and managing the financial aspects of the modern healthcare organization. This course further builds upon the accounting and financial knowledge gained in HADM 6305 and provides the foundation for subsequent courses in the healthcare management curriculum.
