DPT 7321 Physical Therapy Reasoning 6

Sixth in the Physical Therapy Reasoning sequence, this problem-based tutorial includes study of complex client cases with multiple simultaneous and sequential causes and manifestations of movement dysfunction. Cases incorporate an array of ethical, social, psychological, communication and economic issues. Cases will cover acute and chronic systemic diseases, trauma, cervical/thoracic pain, kidney disease, eating disorders and disordered eating, FAT/RED-S, bone stress injuries, compartment syndrome, plantar fasciitis, lumbar radiculopathy, oncology, obstetrics and gynecology, chronic pain, and others. Tutorial discussions will foster the beginning integration of knowledge acquired in the previous and current Patient/Client Management, Foundational Sciences, and Professional Topics courses.
