ANTH 106B Chimpanzee Behavior and Culture

Provides students with an in depth understanding of the non-invasive study of chimpanzee behavior from video footage. The interactive lab aspect of this class focuses on how to non-invasively monitor the presence and behavioral diversity of wildlife using camera trap technology. Students are exposed to the primary scientific literature and gain experience handling and maintaining large datasets in excel, and work as a team throughout this class.
