From an interdisciplinary perspective, the master's degree revolves around the following axes: the theoretical one, which seeks to reflect on the ethical, epistemological, political, historical and creative issues of knowledge production in digital technologies; the investigative one, in which digital tools are used to delve deeper into the questions of the humanities and the relationships between the arts, literature, music, social sciences and journalism; and the creative one, to use digital developments and information technologies as tools to explore new ways of approaching the humanities. Finally, there is the axis related to technology, which seeks to integrate digital technologies as a field of reflection and exploration within academic studies.

- [Interdisciplinary] Generate research questions specific to the humanities and their relationship with the arts, literature, music, social sciences and media, through the use of digital devices and tools.

Study Plan
- 3 unique subjects of the HD master's degree: Fundamentals of Digital Humanities, Digital Tools and Digital Narratives.
- 3 integration subjects: Research and creation visions , Project design and Final project (thesis).
- Elective subjects: 3 seminars in any master's degree at the University, with authorization from the project tutor.
Areas of Research or Emphasis
Use of digital tools, methodologies and workflows for research and dissemination in the different disciplines of the humanities. Exploration of forms of information and knowledge organization (databases, metadata schemes, files, formats and software). Information visualization.
Cultural management and curation of digital projects.
Reflections and debates on the ethical and political impact of digital media on the arts, humanities and social sciences.
Fundamental changes in the generation and circulation of information in the digital age. Characteristics of digital knowledge on the network and new logics for understanding "the digital" in the narrative of the humanities. Impact studies of technologies and these as cultural artifacts. Digital experiences in education.

Alumni Profile
Upon completion of the program, a graduate of the Master's in Digital Humanities is expected to have developed:
A solid background in research and creation in the fields of art, art history, literature, music and media.
Knowledge and communication and technical skills in the use of digital creation tools.
The ability to integrate knowledge of humanities topics, content, and research and creation issues with work on networks, platforms, and digital devices.
The ability to lead wide-ranging digital projects for research, dissemination, recovery, interpretation and curation, among others.
Knowledge and skills to participate in research or digital creation groups with academic, cultural and knowledge management entities such as universities, research centers, museums, media labs, libraries and archives.
The ability to work or undertake projects in companies in the publishing and editorial sector.
