FET 115 Commercial Heating and Cooling Systems II #

Expands on the principles covered in FET 105, Commercial Cooling I that focuses on service call scenarios to improve ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems.  Includes a review of basic refrigeration systems and recognizing conditions and symptoms that signal trouble in electric, gas, oil, and hydronic heating systems. Humidification and filtration systems, human comfort, psychrometrics, heat pumps, high pressure, low pressure and absorption chillers, and cooling towers and pumps.  Students will apply their knowledge of refrigeration to air conditioning systems.
