MATH 40883 Predictive Modeling
Prerequisites: MATH 30224 and 30853, both with a C- or better. Topics will include methods and tools for predictive modeling, including data pre-processing, bias-variance trade-off and model tuning, and analysis techniques including linear regression, adaptive and nearest-neighbor methods, rule-based models, and classification models.
