FTDM 30613 Media Franchising and Branding
Prerequisites: A 2.0 grade or higher in FTDM 20523; FTDM and Sports Broadcasting majors only. In this course, we will take an in-depth examination of film and television franchises--how they are created and established, maintained, and propagated. Through our readings and discussions, we will explore the definitions of the terms "branding: and "franchise" and what they mean within the contemporary media landscape.
