CHIN 10033 Business Chinese
Prerequisite: This course is designed for students with little or no previous knowledge of the Chinese language. It cultivates student cultural knowledge and language skills while communicating in Chinese business environments, tailoring all language training and cultural topics to that end. The language training helps students cultivate basic language skills to interact with the Chinese people. Cultural topics provide a framework for Western learners to develop and Eastern perspective, guiding learners to behave in a culturally appropriate manner when they communicate within Chinese business environments.
