ARST 10013 Creative Thinking and Making Stuff

This introductory course presents students with a range of studio art experiences that will develop their skills in creating, analyzing, and appreciating art. This class is designed to prepare students from all disciplines university-wide (including non-art majors) to solve problems creatively and to develop critical thinking skills that will act as a lens to understand diverse perspectives. While the specific art media will rotate each semester, this class consistently explores Material, Process, Ideation, and Time as core components in creative practice.
