Transfer of Credit and Articulation

Although Strayer University is a regionally accredited institution of higher education, Strayer University, like any other college or university, cannot guarantee that credit earned will transfer to another institution. Transfer of credit is regulated by the criteria established by the receiving institution. It is the student’s responsibility to confirm whether credits will be accepted by another institution of the student’s choice. All Strayer University officials are required to accurately represent the transferability of any courses, programs, diplomas and certificates offered by Strayer University. None of the associate degrees offered by Strayer University are considered terminal degrees.

Students enrolled in the associate degree programs in North Carolina should be aware that the University of North Carolina and the North Carolina Community College System have developed a Comprehensive Articulation Agreement to guide the transfer of students from associate programs to upper-division university programs within the state.
