Public Health (BS)/Master of Public Health (MPH): 3+1 Program

An accelerated five-year BS Public Health/MS Nutrition program is jointly offered by the
Public Health Department and the Nutrition Department. Students complete this accelerated BS/MS program in five years and receive a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Public Health and a Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Health Promotion. 

The BS/MPH 3+1 Program allows Simmons students to complete their BS in Public Health and their Master of Public Health in Health Equity within four years. Students should apply before or within their first year in the undergraduate program.

Note that students need 128 unique credits to graduate with an undergraduate degree.
Students doing accelerated degrees will need to use one credit from  SIM 101SIM 201 , or  SIM 301  to make up the one-credit shortfall associated with taking two 3 credit graduate classes while they are still undergraduates.
