Internship/Work Experience Program for Initial Certification
The Teacher Internship Work Experience affords candidates the opportunity to complete teacher certification and master’s degree program requirements (total of 42 graduate credits) in a supervised internship work experience setting in a public school. Tuition costs for 30 credits of this program are supported by the public school system under a contract arrangement with the University and the candidate. Potential candidates who desire certification in the program begin coursework in the semester/summer prior to placement. Candidates need to meet with an advisor to develop their plans of study and schedule of coursework. Candidates must complete an application for acceptance to the Internship Program.
