PER 10900 Theater Appreciation

This course will present an overview of theatre history ranging from the Ancient Greek Tragedians up to modern Broadway and West End theatrical presentations. There will be emphasis placed on integral eras in theatre history including Greek, Elizabethan and Jacobean, French and Asian Theatre as well as the advent of musical theatre, post-modern realism and anti-realism in American and British theatre.
