ART 18400 Printmaking I

Students will learn to prepare images, carve linoleum, ink, print and archive their prints. Printmaking I provides students with an opportunity to acquire an understanding of the traditional materials and methods of relief printing, and alternative relief printing process. Printmaking is an artistic expression capable of reproducing multiple images of original artwork. No previous art experience is necessary.
