CYB 10110 Intro to Cybersecurity

Emerging digital threats pose a risk to all facets of our society. This course provides foundational knowledge and essentials skills in information security, systems security, network security, mobile security, physical security, ethics and laws, related technologies, defense techniques, planning, and mitigation techniques. Concepts include malware, attacks, confidentiality, integrity, availability, privacy, laws, ethics, incident response, technical controls, and administrative controls. Students will explore careers in various aspects of cybersecurity, as well as education and certification opportunities.
