HOS 10900 Purchasing and Accounting
This course addresses the aspects of purchasing including: selection and storage of service items, quality and quantity controls, specifications, economics and warehousing for the hospitality industry. In addition, some basic accounting principles, accounting concepts, and accounting terminology will be introduced. Detailed accounting topics to include payroll, fixed assets, accounts payable, budget development, cash management and various types of accounting statements will also be discussed.
