CHI 20100 Intermediate Chinese I

CHI 20100 is the first half of a one-year course in Intermediate Mandarin Chinese. The course emphasizes the continued development of language proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The course also focuses on the enhancement of students' oral communication skills through enriching cultural activities. In addition, students will improve their reading and writing competence through reading selected Chinese literature written in advanced grammar, vocabulary and sentence structure. It is advisable that students demonstrate proficiency through the intermediate level.
