REC 10100 Introduction to Recreation and Leisure
This course is designed for students to explore the foundation of the recreation and leisure industry, including an introduction, history and philosophical concepts. This introductory course introduces the student to different areas of the profession, what it takes to become a professional, and different types of programming found in recreation and leisure services. Areas include recreational sports; fitness, health, and wellness; outdoor and adventure; and culture and the arts.
