PSY 20000 Psychology of Gender

Examines empirical research and theories related to the Western development of gender, gender identity, gender roles and stereotypes, gender socialization, and gender similarities and differences. Additional topics include the intersection of gender with ethnicity, sexual orientation, and social class; parenthood; relationships and sexuality; physical and mental health; media; work; and education.
