PER 10900 Theatre Appreciation

This course will present an overview of theater history ranging from the ancient Greek Tragedians up to modern Broadway and West End theatrical presentations. There will be emphasis placed on integral eras in theater history including Greek, Elizabethan and Jacobean, French and Asian theater as well as the advent of musical theater, post-modern realism and anti-realism in American and British theater.
