AUT 212 Manual Transmissions/Transaxles and Drive Trains
A study of the theory, operation, diagnosis and repair of manual transmissions, transaxles and drive trains. Students will remove, disassemble, reassemble and install manual transmissions and related components. Topics include flywheels, clutches, pressure plates, cables, linkage, drive shafts, half shafts, yokes, boots, universal and CV joints, gears and gear ratios, and locking hubs. The course helps prepare students to take the ASE exam for Manual Transmissions.
