Academic Advisement
Academic Advisement is an essential element of a student’s educational experience at Rockland Community College. The College requires that all full-time students be advised and cleared prior to registration every semester to ensure that they are fulfilling their degree requirements. While advisement is not required for part-time students, it is strongly recommended.
Liberal Arts students matriculated in the following degree programs are assigned to Academic Advisement located in Room 8227 in the Technology Center:
- AA Liberal Arts Humanities & Social Science
- AA Liberal Arts Math & Science
- AS Liberal Arts Math & Science
All other full-time students will be assigned a faculty advisor within their major.
