Student Career Services
Student Career Services provides the highest quality personalized services to students and alumni, supporting their understanding and implementation of critically important academic and career decision-making. Students are provided personal assistance in all areas of career development and job preparedness including: career and employment counseling; valuable service learning and credit-bearing internship placements throughout the region; and individual assistance locating beneficial job opportunities both off and on-campus. For student veterans, Student Career Services offers specialized assistance through From Combat to Careers, with individual consultations and workshops to assist them in their transition to successful civilian academic and career paths. A specialized workshop series, Pathways to Career Success, is offered to assist students with disabilities. Student Career Services also offers free career clothing to help students and alumni create their best impression on interviews and beyond with Clothes the Deal. The department's website offers two major interactive programs; JobNet (College Central), an interactive employment portal; and SIGI-3, an excellent self-assessment tool to help identify career choices, as well as a unique series of career videos created and produced in-house.
