Multicultural & First-Generation Student Services

Approximately one-third of the student body is comprised of students of color who bring a multi-ethnic, multicultural view that enriches the entire campus. Services for this population directly relate to the educational, career, social and personal needs of African-American, Caribbean, Asian, Haitian, Latino/a and Native American students. Material on transferring to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs), Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs) and specific scholarship information, individual appointments, walk-in sessions, workshops and support groups are routinely available.
