PER 271-273 Production Practicum and Contract Learning
Production experiences are offered through the planning and public presentation of a full-scale production: lighting, scene and costume design and construction, make-up design and application, technical direction and stage crewing, acting (rehearsal and performance), theatrical business management and advertising. Students attend classes and planning sessions covering conception, interpretation, casting, design, rehearsal and presentation. Studio hours are composed of rehearsal, production and public presentation. Students learn responsibilities associated with theatrical production by applying skills learned in class.
