Course Catalog 2024-2025

Theatre, BA

The Theatre major consists of 66-70 credit hours including 7 credit hours of practicum credit earned through participation in production, and a capstone internship or senior project. Students in the theatre program practice their craft in community with faculty, staff, and other students in an environment that encourages them to consider their vocation as service in God’s world. A strong foundation in the liberal arts emphasizing critical thinking, effective communication, and scholarly research provides graduates with real-world marketable skills and excellent preparation for graduate studies. Year-round opportunities for students to perform, design, and direct, mentored by faculty and other local professionals, broadens the depth of experience of our students, preparing them to become professionals in theatre.
