HIS 3383 Critical Topics in Comparative and Global History
This course examines a critical topic in history across space and/or time through the device of case-study comparisons, in which at least one of the key cases centers on a non-Western society. Through this study, students examine and evaluate human behavior, thought, culture, and values and develop skills in careful reading, source evaluation, evidence-based reasoning, contextual understanding, and clear, persuasive communication.
