Speech and Language

“Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up ... nor should there be any obscenity, foolish talk, or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving” (Ephesians 4:29, 5:4). Speaking or acting in a manner which is profane, disorderly, lewd, obscene, or vulgar—including racial or sexual slurs—may result in discipline or suspension.
