CT433 Interpersonal Communication

Taking a transactional perspective, this course provides an introduction to the academic study of communication in interpersonal relationships. Students will study the influence of individual differences and the roles played by fundamental communication skills in relationship development. Theoretical work on communication in interpersonal relationships will be presented. Throughout the course, feature films will be used to illustrate communication and relationship concepts of interest. (Humanities/Fine Arts elective)
