EDEC 3336 Math Methods, P-5
Candidates will explore the knowledge, skills and dispositions necessary to provide appropriate instruction for all elementary students. Candidates will analyze the teaching of mathematics, basic math content and general principles of mathematics including current issues, procedures, and techniques of instruction. Emphasis is placed on assisting candidates to teach mathematics content and processes with manipulatives. There will be 10 hours of directed field experiences embedded into this course. A pre-service certificate is required for this course.
