MUT 1121 Music Theory and Musicianship I
Required of music majors; development of skills in perceiving and writing music using aural and visual analysis using examples from all historical periods of Western music literature as well as examples from nonwestern musical art form, popular music and jazz idioms. This course is an integrated musicianship course and incorporates written music theory skills, aural skills, and sight singing for all concepts. This course must be completed with a grade of "C" or higher. 45 class hours.
