BSC 1085 Human Anatomy and Physiology I

Intended for allied health and science majors; encompasses both anatomy and physiology; to include an intensive study of biological and chemical foundations; cellular structure and dynamics; tissues; and the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems. A grade of "C" or higher must be attained. 45 class hours.

Prerequisite

REA 0017 or REA 0011 or REA 0019 and MAT 0028 or MAT 0022 or MAT 0055 (completed with a grade of "C" or higher or "P" for each course) or appropriate placement test scores. Students who are not required to take the common placement test or enroll in developmental education courses do not have to satisfy prerequisites. In additionan, High School Biology or High School Chemistry completed with a grade of "B" or higher, or BSC 1005 or BSC 1020 completed with a grade of "C" or higher.
