NUR 1200L Adult Nursing I Clinical /ADN Transition

This course is required for all students entering/or progressing the ADN Transition program.  This course introduces the application of the nursing process to nursing care in assisting ill adults and their families to meet their basic needs. Emphasis is placed on the more commonly occurring health needs. The roles of the nurse as provider of care, communicator, teacher, manager, and member of profession provide the framework for clinical application and evaluation. This class consists of 45 lab hours, and 90 clinical hours. Additional laboratory hours may be required.

BSC 1085, BSC 1085L, BSC 1086, BSC 1086L, CGS 1100, HUN 2201, MCB 2010, MCB 2010L, PSY 1012, NUR 1006, NUR 1006L or Admission to the ADN Transition program and LPN licensure
