DEP 2402 Psychology of Adulthood and Aging

This course focuses on the biopsychosocial changes encountered by people as they grow older—from the end of adolescence to the end of life. Students will study research techniques, biological and psychological theories, genetic determinants, cognitive processes, personality, social forces, psychopathology, and death. The course will emphasize the role of research on critical issues of later-life change. This course satisfies the Gordon Rule writing requirement. A grade of "C" or higher must be attained.
