ASC 1560 Introduction to Unmanned Vehicle Systems

This curriculum chronicles the history and development of Unmanned Vehicle Systems (UVS), their roles, and related components and functions, as well as a practical understanding of aerodynamics, ground and space operations, propulsion systems, and communications data link theory. The course also provides hands-on training of unmanned systems and selection of appropriate payloads across various domains (air and surface) missions, Proof of US citizenship is required for students. Students must obtain certification as an unmanned pilot rating under part 107 of FAA regulations to pass this course.
