Pell Grant (Federal)
The Pell Grant is the largest of the government's student aid programs and is the starting point for most students seeking financial aid. Awards for the 2020-2021 academic year will depend on the level of program funding.
How to Apply
Forms are available in each campus Financial Aid office. Students should:
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online
- Apply during the application period: October 1, 2019–June 30, 2021
Note: Priority awarding deadline date is April 15, 2020
Eligibility
Students are eligible if they:
- Are admitted to the College as regular students
- Enroll in an eligible degree or certificate program
- Are a U.S. citizen, national or permanent resident and have met selective service registration requirements
- Are making satisfactory academic progress
- Are neither in default nor overpayment on student loans or other aid
- Have financial need based on the federal need analysis
