POS 2041 American Federal Government
A study of the theory, organization, principles, and functioning of the Federal Government, emphasizing the relationship of the individual to the government and a study of the U.S. Constitution. 45 class hours.
This course satisfies the Gordon Rule writing requirement. A grade of "C" or higher must be attained.
This course satisfies the Civics Literacy Requirement {Title XLVIII 1007.25(4)}. A grade of "C" or higher must be attained.

REA 0011 or
REA 0019 and ENC 0025 or
ENC 0021 or
ENC 0022 (completed with a grade of "C" or higher for each course) or appropriate placement test scores. Students who are not required to take the common placement test or enroll in developmental education courses do not have to satisfy prerequisites.
