PHYS 364 Plasma Physics

An introduction to the physics of plasma including charged particle motion in electromagnetic fields plasma waves plasma confinement and non-linear effects. These ideas will be used to understand space and ionospheric phenomena laser-plasma interactions containment of matter and anti-matter and energy generation by controlled nuclear fusion.
