ECON 303 Economics of the Internet and Technology
This course explores the economics of the internet, which is the study of the online behavior of firms and consumers. We will analyze competition and firm strategies in internet marketplaces. Topics will include online platforms, internet auctions, copyright and innovation, advertising, and consumer search. Our approach will combine theoretical modeling and statistical tools with factual detail from the case studies of firms and industries.
